This Refund & Dispute Resolution Policy (“Policy”) outlines how refunds, disputes, and transaction issues are handled on the Campus Exchanges platform (“Campus Exchanges,” “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is incorporated into and governed by the Campus Exchanges Terms of Service.

Campus Exchanges operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace. Transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers unless otherwise stated.

1. Platform Role
Campus Exchanges:
– Does not own, inspect, or guarantee items listed
– Is not a party to transactions between users
– Does not provide automatic refunds unless expressly stated

Responsibility for resolving disputes rests primarily with the buyer and seller.

2. General Refund Policy
Unless Campus Exchanges explicitly processes payments:
– All sales are final
– Refunds are not guaranteed
– Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before completing transactions

If Campus Exchanges processes payments, refund eligibility may be determined based on transaction status and evidence provided.

3. Eligible Refund Circumstances (If Platform Payments Are Used)
Refunds may be considered if:
– The item was not delivered
– The item is materially different from the listing description
– The item is counterfeit or prohibited
– The seller fails to complete the transaction

Refund requests must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe as specified by Campus Exchanges.

4. Ineligible Refund Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:
– Buyer remorse or change of mind
– Items accurately described but later disliked
– Damage occurring after the transaction
– Failure to meet in person as agreed
– Off-platform payments or communications

5. Dispute Resolution Process
If a dispute arises:
Step 1: Buyer and seller should attempt to resolve the issue directly.
Step 2: If unresolved, users may submit a dispute through Campus Exchanges.
Step 3: Campus Exchanges may review communications, listings, and evidence.
Step 4: A decision may be issued at Campus Exchanges’ discretion.

Campus Exchanges’ decision, if issued, is final.

6. Evidence Requirements
Users may be required to provide:
– Photos or videos of the item
– Screenshots of conversations
– Proof of payment or transaction details

Failure to provide evidence may result in denial of claims.

7. Chargebacks
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
– Account suspension or termination
– Loss of platform privileges
– Additional investigation

8. Abuse of Policy
Repeated or fraudulent refund or dispute claims may result in:
– Account suspension
– Permanent account termination

9. Limitation of Liability
Campus Exchanges is not liable for:
– Loss of funds in peer-to-peer transactions
– Failed meetups
– Items lost or damaged after transfer

10. Modifications
Campus Exchanges reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
