Campus Exchanges is a peer-to-peer online marketplace that allows college students to list, browse, buy, and sell used textbooks and miscellaneous items. Campus Exchanges does not own, sell, inspect, or guarantee any items listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility
You must:

– Be legally capable of entering a binding contract
– Provide accurate and truthful information
Campus Exchanges reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.

3. Account Registration
Users are responsible for:
– Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
– All activities conducted through their account
– Promptly notifying Campus Exchanges of unauthorized use

4. Listings & Transactions
– Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings
– Buyers and sellers transact directly with each other
– Campus Exchanges is not a party to any transaction
– Items must comply with all applicable laws and campus regulations

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
– Illegal goods or services
– Weapons or controlled substances
– Counterfeit or pirated materials
– Stolen property

5. Payments
Campus Exchanges may offer:
– Peer-to-peer payment facilitation
– Third-party payment processing services
Campus Exchanges is not responsible for payment disputes unless expressly stated in writing.

6. Fees
Campus Exchanges may charge:
– Transaction fees
– Listing or promotional fees
Fees will be clearly disclosed prior to being charged.

7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
– Engage in fraudulent or deceptive behavior
– Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
– Circumvent platform safeguards

8. Ratings, Reviews & Content
Users grant Campus Exchanges a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use posted content for platform operation and marketing. False or defamatory reviews are prohibited.

9. Disclaimers
Campus Exchanges is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We make no warranties regarding:
– Item quality, safety, or legality
– Accuracy of listings
– User conduct

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campus Exchanges shall not be liable for:
– Personal injury
– Property damage
– Financial loss
– Disputes between users

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Campus Exchanges from any claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination
Campus Exchanges may suspend or terminate access at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms.

13. Privacy
Use of the Platform is also governed by the Campus Exchanges Privacy Policy.

14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State in which Campus Exchanges is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
