This Prohibited Items Policy (“Policy”) outlines the items and activities that are strictly forbidden on the Campus Exchanges platform (“Campus Exchanges,” “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is incorporated into and governed by the Campus Exchanges Terms of Service.

Campus Exchanges is a peer-to-peer marketplace intended for college students. To maintain a safe, lawful, and trusted environment, certain items and conduct are prohibited.

1. Illegal Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
– Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
– Stolen property or items obtained unlawfully
– Items that violate local, state, federal, or international laws
– Items requiring licenses or permits not held by the seller

2. Weapons & Dangerous Items
– Firearms, ammunition, magazines, or firearm parts
– Knives designed primarily as weapons
– Explosives, fireworks, or incendiary devices
– Tasers, stun guns, pepper spray, or similar weapons
– Any item that poses a significant safety risk

3. Counterfeit & Intellectual Property Violations
– Counterfeit goods or replicas
– Pirated textbooks, PDFs, software, or digital media
– Items infringing on copyrights, trademarks, or patents

4. Alcohol, Tobacco & Controlled Products
– Alcoholic beverages
– Tobacco products, vaping devices, or e-cigarettes
– Prescription medications
– Supplements or substances making medical claims

5. Adult & Explicit Content
– Pornographic or sexually explicit materials
– Escort or adult services
– Items promoting sexual exploitation or abuse

6. Animals & Biological Materials
– Live animals
– Animal parts or protected species materials
– Biological samples or hazardous materials

7. Financial & Fraud-Related Items
– Stolen financial information
– Credit cards, debit cards, or bank account details
– Investment schemes, pyramid schemes, or MLM recruitment offers
– Gift cards obtained fraudulently

8. Services & Activities
– Academic dishonesty services (test-taking, plagiarism, essay writing for hire)
– Illegal services of any kind
– Gambling services or betting facilitation

9. Hate, Violence & Harassment
– Items promoting hate, discrimination, or extremist ideologies
– Content encouraging violence or self-harm
– Harassing, threatening, or abusive materials

10. Misrepresentation & Deceptive Listings
– False, misleading, or deceptive listings
– Items not owned by the seller
– Listings intended to scam or defraud users

11. Enforcement
Campus Exchanges reserves the right to:
– Remove prohibited listings without notice
– Suspend or terminate user accounts
– Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
– Restrict access for repeat or severe violations

12. Reporting Prohibited Items
Users are encouraged to report prohibited items or conduct using the in-platform reporting tools.

13. Policy Updates
Campus Exchanges may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
